Robotdalen Scientific Award 2010 - for young researchers worldwide!

For the 4th time Robotdalen arranges the international research competition the Robotdalen Scientific Award to encourage young, innovative researchers within the field of robotics. Last date of entry is May 31, 2010. The winner will be announced on Robotdalen Day in Sweden in September, and receive the prize sum of € 20 000.

At their event Open Days in Brussels in October 2009 the European Commission wanted to present a number of good examples of successful initiatives receiving EU-funding. Robotdalen was chosen to represent Sweden.

Giraff AB – our first international business establishment

Giraff Technologies AB chose to move all its operations from the US to Robotdalen for further development and the launch of its Giraff robot in the home care market. The company – situated at the Automation Center in Västerås Science Park in Västerås, Sweden – is thus the first international business establishment in Robotdalen. Our initiative for gaining a world-leading position in robotics is paying off.
