LINA – a communication platform for the home

The project aims to create a communication platform for the control of appliances and other features in a home.

Today there are many different technologies and standards for communications solutions for control appliances and other features in a home, such as remote controls. The product Lina collects everything, regardless of the communication solution, under a common user interface so that everything can be controlled from a single system.

A demo of the product is currently being tested in a person’s home. The organizations behind the product are JC Development in collaboration with NovaMedTech, Mälardalen University and Örebro University.
