And the three nominees are …

The three nominees for the Robotdalen Innovation Award 2015 have now been announced:

Odico Aps Formwork Robotics, who has created a tool suitable for the construction industry which convert digital designs to real objects, as an alternative to 3D printing.

OpenBionics, innovators of a prosthetic hand concept with a wide variety of grasping postures.

Dr.-Ing. Mohammad Ali Nasseri, creator of a medical tool for eye doctors, aimed at assisting ophthalmic surgery.

The internationally oriented Robotdalen Innovation Award is directed at innovators, entrepreneurs, graduate and postgraduate students from all over the world who have ideas, concepts or solutions with commercial potential and breakthrough technology, addressing certain fields of robotics and automation.

The prize ceremony, where the winner will be announced, will take place at the event Automation Summit in Västerås on September 3rd.

The three winners share SEK 230,000 (approximately 25,000 Euro), and are offered to further develop their concepts in cooperation with Robotdalen.
