Robotdalen commercial partner in India project with KTH
We continue our work with new solutions for elderly. In the project SAATH (Seamless affordable assistive technology for health) we cooperate with Swedish KTH Royal Institute of Technology in developing new innovative aids for the elderly. The focus is on diagnosis, prevention, treatment and mobility for the elderly. Robotdalen will contribute with competence and recommendations regarding commercialization of the new innovations.
The first project looks into incorporating sensors in shoe soles to check up on people’s mobility and determine when it’s time for a cane or walker.
The SAATH-project is funded for 3 years by Sweden’s Innovation Agency VINNOVA as part of their Indo-Swedish Innovation Call: Health and Disease Prevention. Other partners in the project are Swedish University of Gävle, Brepus Castle AB and a number of Indian participants.
