Robotdalen starts cooperation with Chinese company
On Monday, December 5, a Letter Of Intent (LOI) was signed between Robotdalen and the Chinese company Zhongrui Funing Robotics. The letter of intent concerns a cooperation for new Swedish technology solutions within health and welfare technology; so called technology for independent life.
Through the letter of intent, Chinese investors get the opportunity to invest in Robotdalen’s Swedish start-up companies and their products, and will thus have access to Swedish, tested and evaluated health and welfare technology. The Swedish companies are offered, besides capital, an export channel to the Chinese market. The partnership meets the need for more technical solutions for an aging Chinese population to be taken care of by a decreasing proportion of young people.
Thus, on Monday a LOI was signed by the parts. Liu Qian, President Zhongrui Funing Robotics (Shenyang) Co. Ltd, Dr. Dong Feng, Governor of The People’s Government of Tiexi District, Shenyang, Liaoning, Anders Teljebäck, Västerås City Mayor, Eva Lilja, Västerås City Business Director and Board member of Robotdalen, and Erik Lundqvist, General Manager at Robotdalen, were all present at Robotdalen’s office in Västerås to sign the LOI.
Zhongrui Funing Robotics will open an office on Expectrum in Västerås, where Robotdalen have parts of their operations.
- We see a huge potential on several levels in this cooperation. Our Swedish companies get a chance to develop faster while new doors for a large Chinese market also opens, says Erik Lundqvist, Robotdalen’s General Manager.
