EU funds to Robotdalen's further development
It is now established that Robotdalen gets 13.5 million SEK (approximately 1.4 million Euro) in project funds from the European Regional Development Fund for its work with the commercialization of intersectoral robotics. The money is distributed over three years.
The aim of the initiative is for robotics to become a leading intersectoral technology in the global market where Robotdalen is a leading international innovation environment for robotics. The initiative promotes a faster international commercialization of robotics and the establishment of financial possibilities for project ideas in the early stages.
- This means a lot for Robotdalen’s further development and role as a leading Swedish and international operator and developer of new robot technology, says Erik Lundqvist, General Manager at Robotdalen. We can stimulate increased entrepreneurship and the establishment of new innovative robotics ideas on both the Swedish and global market.
